South Korean bitcoin exchange bitsmart.exchange has officially opened beta access to a global platform for crypto trading for users. This is reported by Finance Magnates.
To reduce risks for clients, at this stage, the platform allows you to trade perpetual futures contracts using test money.
The operator of the new exchange is a company bitsmart.exchange Global. It also serves trades on bitsmart.exchange DEX and an OTC platform focused on institutional investors.
Recall that in April, bitsmart.exchange raised $200 million from the Japanese blockchain Fund ST.
It is noteworthy that the site managed to attract funding despite the fact that it was hacked twice — in June 2018 and in March 2019. The damage from two hacker attacks exceeded $49 million. bitsmart.exchange also reported $180 million in losses in 2018.
Note that in the near future bitsmart.exchange plans to enter the markets of the UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and ten other countries.
