Major Indian automaker Tata Motors has launched a development program for start-UPS, in which it plans to introduce blockchain and other technologies into internal business processes.
With the help of the “Tata Motors Mobility Collaboration Network 2.0” program, the company will help startups developing systems using new technologies, be it artificial intelligence or blockchain.
The automaker plans to use blockchain solutions in various areas of car design, Assembly and operation. One of these applications can be a service for booking Parking or tracking the quality of fuel at various gas stations.
“Now almost every automotive component has its own history of innovation. In our era of uncertainty and rapid change, we need to continue to use new technologies, while implementing them both in — house and with the help of external partners,” said Shailesh Chandra, President of electric vehicles and corporate strategy at Tata Motors.
Recently, Jaguar Land Rover launched
testing of the wallet on the IOTA blockchain. After the final launch of the initiative, drivers will receive IOTA coins for providing driving data.
