The Ministry of human resources and social security of China has included blockchain-related professions in the list of officially recognized professions.
In a statement
The Ministry reports that on may 11, it was decided to add 10 new professions to the list of officially recognized professions, including those related to blockchain. Among the blockchain specialists, the list includes specialists in designing systems on the blockchain, developers and testers, as well as professionals in the field of operation and maintenance. 3D printing specialists and nucleic acid researchers also appeared on the list.
The Ministry believes that the official recognition of blockchain specialists will help in the recovery of the economy after the coronavirus pandemic. Especially since many people lost their jobs after the epidemic.
Note that China continues to develop blockchain projects and increase the adoption of the technology. At the end of April, the Central Commission on cyberspace (OCCAC) held a third round of approval of companies developing solutions on the blockchain. Regulator approved
224 projects at once.
