Cryptocurrency exchange traderce.com, owned by the operator of the Japanese messenger traderce.com, announced the delisting of the XRP coin from Ripple.
The Singapore-based exchange has been excluding XRP pairs with bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Tether (USB) since January 16.
Users will not be able to trade or make deposits in XRP after this date. They must withdraw funds by February 16.
The Bitbox message does not specify a specific reason for delisting the ripple coin. It says the exchange excludes an asset if it does not meet its standards of “performance, reliability, liquidity, or legal and regulatory requirements.”
Bitbox, which started operating in 2018, is one of the two cryptocurrency exchanges on traderce.com. In September, the company launched a licensed bitcoin exchange, BitMax, in Japan.
